• Welcome to our Blog!

We are Mike + Heather Krakora, two best friends that get to work, play and laugh together everyday. How lucky is that? We live in Madison, Wisconsin with our two vivacious boys, two very fluffy dogs and a bullfrog named Bob. We absolutely love what we do – photographing people at such pivotal points in their lives is a huge honor.

Our blog is where we will post all of the recent happenings in our lives and in the lives of our clients. So don't be shy, leave a comment.  We love comments, they make us smile.  :o)

Madison Wedding Photographer :: Carrie + Bryan :: married!

I don’t even know where to begin with Carrie and Bryan’s wedding day. These two have such an amazing love and friendship and they surrounded themselves with just as amazing friends and family. Is that even possible?!?!  This was one of those weddings that it was hard to leave. Drinks were offered and dancing…we really should have stayed.:)This is also one of those posts where I really wish I wasn’t limiting how many images I put on the blog. All I can say is that we had a LOT of fun shooting.

Paoli was a really fun place to do some shooting. Its been ages since I have been there. So many cute shops and restaurants considering the town is so small it is incorporated.:)
Cool sign that Bryan’s Grandmother used on her wedding.

Carrie - Mike + Heather, it was such a privilege to work with the two of you! You are an incredible couple and extremely talented photographers. You captured our favorite moments from the day and many more that we missed. We will be able to cherish all of our memories through your beautiful images. Thank you for everything!!!

keagan :: class of 2011 senior portrait photographer, madison wi

We were both excited and surprised when Keagan had contacted our studio to do her senior portraits. Reason being is that she lives out of state. Keagan is serious about her love of photography, she loved  Mike’s style and thought he would do the best job. We always love to hear that! It was also fun to hear that she had plans to attend a summer program offered to high school students at The Brook’s Institute of Photography where Mike went to photography school. Small world!:)

jon :: oregon high school class of 2011 senior portraits

A bonus about us being able to photograph Collin was that we also go the opportunity to work with his step-brother, Jon, at the same time. It was really important to the both of them (and to us) that their images be different and distinctive to each of them, even though they were photographed in the same locations. It always amazes me the connections that a simple location can have. Both Jon and Collin have such an attachment to this place.

collin :: oregon class of 2011 senior portrait photography

Collin is one of our senior models from Oregon High School and has been absolutely awesome to work with. He is a man of many talents – hockey player, musician, all around great guy.:)

Collin’s family has the most amazing property that he wanted to do the majority of his shots on. It was an adventure and so much fun to ride around on the “mules,” other wise known as ATVs.

And since I just could not resist – here is the video of all of our favorites. Remember to play, then pause, to give it a chance to load.
